  1. Hi Jane,

I had my surgery a little over a year ago. I haven't put any weight back on but I've been on a stall for about 6 months. Even though my weight hasn't moved on the scale in that 6 months. I've dropped a clothes size because I've been working out like a mad women. Ref the cost. It's a huge tub! It lasts forever. But it's a nice change from Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry. One snack I really like is Ostrim. It's Ostrich Jerky but each little 80 calorie stick has 14 to 16 grams of protein. So it's a lot of bang for your buck. I still eat little meals but I have to eat every two hours or I get pains in my stomach. The hardest things for me to eat are pasta, rice, and bread. They go down easy but they swell up in your stomach. I also can't have things like ramen soup because I can't do broth and noodles at the same time. I haven't had a soda in over a year and a half (which is good) because my Dr. said it will make your stomach enlarge and I don't want that happening. Overall it's been really good for me. I'm down 67 lbs 4 dress sizes. I can buy stylish clothes right of the rack and they look like I want them to look. So I'm very happy with my surgery. If I can just get 40 more lbs. off I'll be super happy.

Hi Karen, thanks for that, I will try it. Just couldn't believe the price, saw it on Vitacost web site and I think they had it for $35 US dollar but couldn't say if I would be charged importing fee once it arrived in Australia, so found a couple of Aussie sites and it costs $65 AUS dollars. Bit rude I thought. But It worth a try for something different other than the Vanilla ones.
So you had your op awhile back, how has it been for you, do you still find you are losing weight even if slowly, how is your appetite are you still only able to eat really small meals? Lol sorry I could ask a million questions, I'll stop there... Thanks for your response anyway.
  3. Well, I'm in the hospital still but getting out later today. Dr. Hustead said my surgery was a breeze. I feel pretty good was up and walking a couple hours out of surgery. Dr. Put me on clear liquids right away and I haven't had any problems. No vomitting a tiny bit of nausea. But all in all doing really well. Thanks for all the support!!
