Awww, thanks! I know I'm only just over half-way there -- if I ever get there -- but I had no idea that shedding even 60# would make me feel so much better. It's so nice not to have that burden. I have no idea if I will have this much emotionaly and physical improvement in the next set of pounds that go off but if I didn't lose another pound, or if I didn't feel any better, where I am makes that surgery worth it in every single way. Thanks for the encouragement! I'll have to check out Lucci's profile and see how she's doing.

Hi There, Thank you for the message. Surgery went well I also ended up haing a hiatal hernia they had to repair. So its been painful but it is getting better every day. I m trying to figure out when I should start puree foods. Dr sayd 48 hrs after I go home. Im trying jello but its a very slow process..I also had sever neausa. They were giving me 2 different anti neausa medicines it seemed to work for a bit but then would come back. It's all but gone now and am feeling better and better. Hope all is well with you both!

Happy Holidays to both of you as well! Things are going just fine here. Overall, side effects and all the risky things are going quite well. Mentally I'm fine but I am craving acceptance of new normal, everything still seems a bit off...but I'm getting there. A few more weeks! I'm looking forward to eating more "normal" foods, even in small portions and I'm getting closer and closer. Take care!

Thanks for stoppy by the surgery december 2012 group with an update about lucci. Im glad everything went well! :-)

Lucci is in her room resting fairly comfortably. She is on a ward who wanted to kick me out at 7:00pm but I'm still here. She is doing surprisingly well and if thankful forth PAC. Thank you for all the prayers and I'm sure she will check in tomorrow. Surgery lasted 2 & 1/2 hours and they had to repair a hiatal hernia while they were in there (two for one deal.) They are coming to get her up to walk soon, then we move forward.

Thanks for the well wishes. It's looking like surgery in 9-14 days and while I thought I was ready last time, I know I am this time.
