I am so sorry you had trouble with eggs. I am really looking forward to eating eggs in 4 days! Maybe next time you could try just egg whites or make them really moist like poached just until the whites are barely solid, and Eating a couple small bites and chew until there is nothing else to chew before swallowing. These are issues I know I am going to have to make a special effort to do. Mindful eating is not something I have ever done. Just like I am stll having to be mindful about sipping vs gulping. This is a new life and it will require baby steps for a while. Just hang in there and we will get through this together!

Ahhh thanks so much! My workout consists of 2 hours of cardio a day. sometimes a little under .. usually at gym by 5 am just for 40 min of cardio... and then i return back to gym around 7ish for 1 hour of training with my trainer or alone usually half hour of weight lifting and then a half hour of high intensity followed by 40-60 min of cardio <3

Biography:
Hello eveyone! I like the rest of you struggled with weight my entire life. I have gained and lost unteen pounds over and over again. I'll save you the sob story but my weight balloned in 2009 after being diagnoised with Fibromyalgia and put on lyrica. In 2006 I graduated HS at about 5'5 160ish by 2012 at my College graduation I weight 304, my highest ever with most of the weight gained after 2009. After being on numerous diets I decided to go with bypass, however my surgeon suggested the sleeve because I'm anemic and have a vitamin D deficiency. After being told over and over again I crazy and/or lazy for gaining the weight and "I'm too young to have surgery" I'm happy to finally found a supportive place that believe in me.

I'm on stage 2 and had my first bouts of throwing up no matter how much I mash and puree those suckers they will not stay down-I had such high hopes for eggs, looks like they will be a no-no.

First Real Workout

by PinkTulips on 10-17-2012 at 05:33 PM
I saw my surgeon yesterday and he said I resume with strength training. For the last 6 months I was to doing 60 minutes on the ellipitcal 4-7 days a week but today I was only able to do 30 minutes-I guess thats expected. I also started using my resistence bands. 1 set of 8 squats, lunges, rows, bicep curls, tricep kickbacks, and shoulders. All and all it took about a hour total. Not bad, but I guess I'll being working my way up to abs and 3 sets in the next month or so.
