  1. 40 lbs down! I have so many mixed emotions. Excited, disbelief, stunned, and more. I can't remember being in the 230's it's been so long. WOW.It was even nice not having to ask for a seat belt extension on the flight home...

I tried the oatmeal and apples baby food and I ate one container. Wasn't too bad, tried another and could only eat a little bit and threw it out. While I was in Seattle I ate pho broth and that worked pretty good. The Red Lobster commercial suck for me too.
  3. Good luck on your journey Montana. Keep in touch and let us know how things are going.

I am doing well...thank you for asking! I love s/f pudding with protein powder...that was my main staple for a few weeks. Yummy! No sure how you are eating the baby food, I ate one jar and that was enough for me. Quite a few people post that their doctors did not recommend baby food because of the carb count. I also ate early on and still eat alot of soup. Amy's low fat lentil or split pea with added protein powder are my favs. Never got into pureeing foods. Just ate alot of pudding, soup and applesauce the first few weeks The first week home, I wanted bread so bad, I let a tiny piece disolve in my mouth....I was afraid to swollow it...so I just enjoyed the taste for a few moments. Have a great week Jill!!

Having or Not Having Sex...

by jwagner68 on 10-21-2012 at 11:43 AM
How long should one wait. I am having my 12 year anniversary on the 23. It puts 31 days out after my surgery. ...and being gone for a month my husband has been really flirty when we talk on the phone. I still feel subconscious of how I look and feel toward myself. I guess that will be something I will be working on for quite sometime. Heading home tomorrow...

Family Support

by jwagner68 on 10-05-2012 at 09:37 PM
My family is wonderful. 1st my husband was gonna fly with me but I convinced him it was better to stay home and take care of the animals and give me time to recoup, and he has set up a weight room at home for us and we are getting an oliptical or treadmill when I get back ( after being gone a month) 2nd my mom flew down and met me for my gastric sleeve, then I flew home with her so she could help and support me during my 1st 10 days. She has had the Roux-En-Y so she understands and just recently

Jill's Sleeve Journey

by jwagner68 on 10-03-2012 at 12:37 PM
So grateful for the steps i am embarking on for a new and HEALTHIER way of life. It has been 11 days since surgery and I am sooooo very tired of jell-o & liquids (lol). This mornin I introduced cream of wheat - so far so good. YEAH.
The hard part is making myself not drink 30 minutes before and after eating. I can work thru it! I am so glad to be here. Thanks for "listening" and Good Luck To ALL...
