Thank you for the well wishes. My surgery went well. I am now 9 days post-op and starting to feel better every day. I did have a bit of a scare yesterday at the doc's. My oxygen saturation was down to 84 and my blood pressure bottomed out at 84/54. They thought they were going to have to transport me via ambulance to the ER. They kept me under observation, did an EKG and retook my vitals and they went back up to normal. They did send me to have a CAT scan to rule out a pulmonary embolism. I feel fine now but for the next few days they want me to go in and have my vitals checked and if I have anymore weak/lightheaded spells I am to go to the ER.

You are a huge inspiration!!! I had my surgery 10 days after you and I have watched your progress from day one. I have had several stalls since my surgery but since July 7th I have been fluctuating between 165 and 167. Soooo frustrating!!!! I have not lost a pound for 4 weeks! Hello, I saw on a comment you made that you did a pouch test? What exactly did you do? I wanna lose 18 lbs by my Birthday next month!

Wonderful!!! I got through day 1 of liquids and now plugging through day 2. I think as long as we keep our focus on what we want to accomplish and stop the mindless eating, we will be fine. We have such a great tool in us!!

HI Silver- just looking at before and after pics posted and droped on yours...what an inspiration. You look great! I'm waiting for my surgery date and can't wait. Like you.. I researched the surgery on and off for a couple years before I made the decision. It wasn't until after my sister had it doen a year ago and did so well, that I finally said: I can do this too. Keep up the great work! Take care.

Hahaha don't be jealous! Hey a pound a week lost is better then a pound a week gained you are doing great! Can't wait to see your pics pretty lucky living here in Western Australia.

Yeah treatment is pretty intense. Makes me feel pretty yuck but have to try and look at the positives. Hopefully it will help. Haha I think it is "melting off" cos for a few days after each weekly treatment I can't stomach anything.

Waking up and starting to move around (slowly, with lots of grunting.) Drank some water. Tooks some vitamins. All the good stuff I think. I'll post a bit after I get some calories into me. Thank you for asking!
