Hello All,
I'm 4 months out from my surgery date and have 45# to goal. I have been partially lazy on this journey and a little 'bad', but not too bad. I haven't been able to do any exercise or movement for the last weeks, due to surgery for breast cancer (sucks). I am finally getting mobility back though. Maybe the surgery kicked my metabolism up and that's why I just lost 5 pounds in the last week. I'd certainly like it to continue!
I need to go back to work!!
Well, it's about time! I have been hovering between 203 and 200 for the last 7-8 weeks. I admit, I haven't been doing EVERYTHING right, exactly....and I am sporadic about 'exercising'. But as of Monday (4/15), I finally broke to the 199 side and didn't go back up. Whereas, I had hit it twice in the last couple of weeks, only to go back up 2-4 pounds. You all know how that works! I know I'm on the way down for sure now, since today I'm on the bottom of 198 (198.2).

Hi fellow sleevers!
I feel pretty great, not quite two weeks out. I am happy with my loss rate. I wish I could lift weights already, lol.
I have type II diabetes, diet controlled (was on pills) and my A1c before I left (for the last 18 months) was 5.7. I do occasionally (weekly) check my sugar level in the morning (fasting) and it would hover anywhere from 86-128. The part I am now frustrated about is that since the surgery, I am at 130-145 when I test!!
Okay, so I know now that my bigger problem isn't what to eat, it's how much I can actually handle. Even though I put a small portion in a bowl or on a saucer, it usually turns out to be too much. And that small portion often gets cold while waiting patiently to be consumed.... ewww.
I have waited a lil too long a couple of times and feel shaky, then can't get my food in fast enough to suit me, but I guess I'll straighten up. lol.
I must admit... I am SUPER
I am curious as to who moved forward a little faster than their 'recommended' post-op diet stated?
Mine (from Dr. Almanza) said to also have clear liquids and a few select creamed soups, etc... on week two. I kinda did that on Saturday and then moved to week three from Saturday to now. I don't have a desire to move forward faster than that, just tired of the clear broth stage.
So, I was curious as to who else did this or similar and whether or not you had any
