Thank you. Taking it easy is all I could do, or I'll drive myself insane lol. I'm trying to prepare myself as much as possible, but I know there'll be nothing like the actual experience. Hard road... indeed, but I'm up for the challenge. =)

OMG... can't believe you slept on your stomach already!!! Wishing you a speedy recovery... your consumption sounds like mine the first couple days except for the protein drink. I could barely consume anything.

Hi everyone - thanks for the well wishes! I am 3 days post op now. Finally getting up and moving around freely. Slept on my stomach last night. The first night I spent in the hospital, 2nd night at home was hard, a bit painful. I do not like the clear liquids that I have to eat - the protein ones....
First day I had nothing to eat or drink in hospital.
2nd day, for lunch had 4 teaspoons of chicken broth and 2 teaspoons full of jello and for dinner I had 20 teaspoons of chicken broth.
3rd day chicken broth 4 oz and lots of pop cycles and water
4th day yucky clear protein drinks - pops and jello......
