Biography:

¡Hola! Just a few details about me.... I started this journey 7 years ago. My long & twisted journey began in Mexico when i had a lap band placed. It was an instant love affair... I loved my lap band but sadly, it was a 1 sided love. Lol Even from the beginning I had issues with throwing up with my band, doctors believed it had something to do with my hormone cycle & getting on the pill alleviated the symptoms. For 5 years my band & I lived a fabulous life.... Then came the gerd & acid reflex & a new doctor. At that point I had lost 160 pounds and hadn't had a fill in over 2 years. However, my new doctor thought perhaps an unfill would resolve everything. So my band was unfilled, but i started to gain weight so then my roller coaster began. I would get a fill then within weeks start throwing up blood. No matter how small or big the fill was, it would always end up the same way. Therefore, complete unfill and my weight came back quickly. We all know the dieting roller coaster but for some reason my body & mind wouldn't cooperate. Enter doctor who loves the sleeve & hates the band.... And here i am now before you... Newly sleeved -September 5th, mourning my band, and excited about this new journey i have embarked upon & anxious to meet all of you and hear your stories!!! :)
