    Sorry to hear about the infections. I still have one that looks iffy ... I suppose I should have it looked at. If you don't mind me asking what antibiotic did the doc prescibe? Is everything else going ok? Leslie is having a bit of trouble keeping down anything that isn't liquid. I am doing fine - just having a hard time getting in all the protein and water. It's like a job!

    Hey Guys! I am doing well. I would love to chew something, though! I am down 21 pounds since pre op diet. I have one incinsion that looks a little icky. I suppose I'll be getting them out tomorrow. I am glad you all are doing so good! I got a message from Leslie last week she was already down 22 pounds! Has anyone heard from Gail?

That's right, I ran a marathon (at Disney even) today. I'm not saying it was pretty, but I finished, and I'm not dead.

Post-race I even got on the scale, and found 218, a pleasant surprise! That makes 64 pounds total I think.

Half Marathon

Yesterday marks my first race since getting sleeved. I ran my 13.1 miles in 2:45 hours which beat my per-sleeve time by half an hour!!! It is a NSV that really surprised me.

Back To Work - Day 4

Today is day 4 after surgery and I'm back to work today. I've got broth, juice, and a protein drink to take with me. I'm worried about feeling tired, because I haven't had a lot of nutrition in the past few days. It doesn't help that we're moving offices this week. I'm going to have to avoid heavy lifting somehow too. I know the real temptations are going to be at work, so this is where the real test begins.
