Day 7 and for the first time I've been able to drink a protein shake without it upsetting my sleeve. I feel pretty good for the most part. Still having a little pain from time to time. Very excited that I'm about to move on to week#2. Looking forward to moving on from my ice chips, popsicles and broth. Looking for new items I can add to week 2 that I don't have to puree. I haven't lost much since surgery but I am greatful for every pound lost.

So glad my surgery went well and having the chief of staff as your surgeon didn't hurt either. Even thou this is day 4 I am so glad to be home and starting what will be a long journey ahead. I haven't started eating much more than Ice chips, popsicles and broth. Not interested in anything else. My main concern is keeping well hydrated. I've forgotten that my life has changed from a stomach to a pouch so I've had a couple of gulps of water. But the gas pain that accompanies it serves as a reminder

As my day draws closer, I look back on my journey to this point and think I'm so glad to be hours away from a life changing experience. I'm so glad to be surrounded by people who have had great success with being sleeved and greatly appreciated reading their stories. Thank you to everyone on here who has encouraged me to go forward.
