Anything new with your process? I live in QC and I am starting the process in 1 week

Hi Sandy-I know what you mean by the insurance---I had to go through a lot--I had to go see my doctor bi-weekly for 6 months, I had to visit a nutritionist for 3 months, I had to go the the psychiatrist, get many tests and blood work---It took me almost a year, but it has been well worth the wait! So far the liquid diet has been ok--the protein shakes definitely help...I have only 8 days left!

Hi Sandy-- I have Phoenix Health Plan--I live in Chandler, I am 43 y/o, married, have 5 boys (20, 17, 14, 11 & 11), 1 pug (Daisy), and 3 cats (Mysti, Stormi, and Luna) all pets are girls--my rule! LOL I am graduating with my Bachelors degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in May 2013!! My hubby has already booked an Alaskan Cruise for my graduation gift on May 13, 2012! HI- I am having my procedure at Banner Gateway on 12/18/12..I chose Dr. David Pokameni. He is so nice. Since I am a nursing student I had the opportunity to see Dr. Pokameni perform many surgeries that is why I chose him. I highly recommend him when you have to chose a Dr. I have been waiting since Jan for this---My insurance made me jump through many hoops! But It is finally almost time to change my life!--I start my pre-op liquid diet tomorrow!! My sister is making me xmas cookies to go eat at her home tonight! LOL..Anyway please keep in touch!
