Yay!!! I'm so happy for you!

I'm doing great today with very minor pain! I thought the pain was going to be way worst lol thanks for checking up on me!

Natassia will be OK. U of Miami Hospital is up and running today. I'm thinking about you!! If your surgery was one of the firsts, you're probably sleeping in your room already.

Hope the storm doesn't interfere with your surgery

Not too bad, trust me. Don't be scared about that. As I said before: Walk, walk, walk!!! The nurse will make sure you do it. They'll be checking you! You will have the instructions in a board on your room. Follow all the instructions! Make sure you start blowing that little plastic thing after your surgery. The next day you'll have the upper GI. I loved the fact that Dr. De la Cruz was there checking himself that everything was OK. I love him, really!

Ohhh, was the gas really painful?

I always have a not so pleasant reaction to anesthesia, but that's me! I felt nauseous! I slept for a few hours and when I woke up I started to walk. Dr. De la Cruz also repaired a hiatal hernia, and that was a little painful when I breathed, but nothing unbearable. When I woke up the first persons I saw were my husband and my Mom...I went back to sleep immediately...I have no recollection of anyone else before that.

omg how funny and awesome is this!! Thats good that the staff and Dr did awesome. I'm happy that everything went well for you! How did you feel when you woke up!? Thats the main thing that i'm frighten about!
