I had my surgery on Nov. 1. Don't worry, you will be fine. The worse pain issue is the gas after the surgery. Just be sure to take Gas X strips with you and walk, walk, walk. The staff (nurses) are there to make sure your pain and potential nausea is well medicated. I had my surgery in Tijuana with Dr. Almanza and have NO negative comments to make. I was almost 300 lbs myself. By day two after surgery, I was walking around Tijuana shopping. I am now 11 days post surgery and am feeling GREAT. Having this surgery was the BEST decision I have made in my 51 years on this earth.
