  1. So far so good. Tolerating fills quite well. Think I am ready for something more substantial. Haven't gotten on the scales in a few days. I'm hoping when I go back to work on December 3 I will have reached my first goal "Onederland". I'm only 3# away as of a couple of days ago. I go for my 1st postoperative visit this Wednesday.
  2. At least you have been progressed to fulls, and it is only one week. I know what you mean about the protein drinks I was sick of them 2nd day preop of a 14 day prep. I knew I didn't tolerate milk and ice cream well (diarrhea issues and stomach discomfort) well I never looked up what whey was until the last day before surgery. You would have thought that I would have checked it out, what kind of protein it was. When I found out it was a milk product that explained why my 2 wk prep was SO MISERABLE. I will never touch whey again. Have changed over to soy, which takes getting use to also. I would love to go to the movies but the thought of the smell of popcorn is just a little overwhelming to me, that is the only place I eat popcorn. So you have my deepest sympathy about the ice cream and the movies. As you can see you have no corner on the whines, so whine away. that is what we are here for.
OH AND YOU WON'T BELIEVE.....ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS GOT ME A CAN OF LOBSTER BISQUE TOO!!!

Well my Thanksgiving consisted of pureed mashed potatoes, gravy, carrots, broccoli and cheese. Believe it or not IT WAS GREAT. Prior to this surgery, would never have thunk it.
  3. Hope you get to progress to full liquids or better. Hope things went well. Have a good black bean soup that you purée, if you like. Really high in protein. Have eaten it twice so far with no problems. First time I premeditated with Beano, today I forgot but no gas build up. Could have puréed the gas out
  4. Wow, back to work already, congrats. I go back December 2. Cannot imagine going back that fast. But like I have said I am a wuss with a low pain threshold plus I had enough sick pay to take the time. Your wt loss is great. I had a preop 2 wk diet. During that time I lost 8 lbs would rather have it your way. What kind of diet are you on now? Mine is full liquids. Sometimes the commercials bother me. Luckily, I can't smell food most of the time since surgery.

You would not believe but 5 days after surgery I actually had a food nightmare. So glad you are doing so well. Will have to watch each others progress.
  5. Hi I am a November 13th sleeves too. How are you doing? Getting better daily. Have lost 10# since surgery. Congrats to you. Tried on some scrubs I could no longer wear & voila, they fit with some room to spare. Was great.
