About caileag26
- Sleeved or not sleeved:
- I have had a gastric sleeve.
- Biography:
- So tired of being fat and tired and achy. Tried so many programs! My doctor suggested bypass but that's just too scary. I was planning on a lapband but the more I've researched the more convinced I am that the sleeve is the right choice for me.

OK. Haven't been here in about three years. Funny reading my last post because i was worried about not losing enough. Fast forward two more months, i had lost another 25lbs and a large amount of my hair. People kept asking if i was ok. There was a rumor going around work that i had cancer. Totally freaked me out!!! I felt like a complete failure but instead of talking to my doctor or coming here for advice, I stopped everything. I started eating more calories to slow my loss. I stopped

Tomorrow will be my one month mark since being sleeved. People have been cheering me on trying to make me feel better but I'm still disappointed in myself. I have no problems drinking and have been able to eat anything without issues. I can't eat anywhere near what I used to but I think I'm getting much more than I should. My weight just isn't going down. Twenty pounds in a month seems good by regular dieting standards. I was often able to achieve this with Atkins. If you look at I've only

I feel like a bit of a lagger. It's tough coming one her and seeing all the people who have lost so much more than me in the same time frame. 16.7lbs in 3 weeks according to the doctor this morning. Normally I would think this is phenomenal and I'm trying to stay positive. I'm getting my vitamins, 64oz of fluids and 60-80 of protein but haven't lost in over a week. This morning was shot because the doctor's office is an hour away but tomorrow I have got to get to the gym and start working the

Got my sleeve on 12/13 and back home this morning. Pain isn't too bad. Mostly it's pressure. Thursday and Friday I had a lot of nausea but haven't vomited since Friday morning. I'm walking as much as I can but I get so weak and exhausted. Fighting a migraine at the moment. I weaned of caffeine long before surgery but I might have make a little espresso to fight this headache. Anyway. I need a nap.

My surgery is tomorrow. Everyone keeps asking if I'm ready. NO! What a silly question. How can you ever truly be ready to jump into the unknown? I think I'm still secretly wishing for a miracle like I'll wake up in the morning and not be fat anymore so I don't have to do this. I did beautifully on my pre-op diet until today. I wanted a potpie. I think by the end of the day I'll still be within my calorie and carb allowance if I skip dinner and have a shake. Been on a horrible emotional rollercoaster
