It's been a little over 12 weeks since my surgery and I am down about 52 pounds from where I started. When I first came out of surgery the first few weeks I was thinking "What have I done?!" Hit the 10-week post surgery date and feeling good. I think I have stalled again since I haven't lost anything for about a week, but will kick in again. I'm glad I didn't tell too many people that I had the surgery...it gets old when every time a person sees you they ask "So, how much weight have you lost now?" Ugh! That's just close family.

I am able to eat pretty much most types of food without any pain/irritation/nausea so that is good. I am still trying a lot

I am just wonder what folks do for pre-op preparation and post-op follow-up care when they have their procedures done in Mexico. Had my surgery 24 days ago. Lost 31 pounds and have been stalled about the last 10 days. Not worrying about the scales, though. My dietician said you should pay more attention to your SIZE and MEASUREMENTS than the number on the scales, and I know it will start back up again. I'm glad to be losing slowly, I feel like it's healthier that way. My family members seem to be more interested in the weight loss aspect, asking how much I've lost every time I talk to one of them! lol
