Jen - sorry to hear about your Dad. That is sad news and couldn't have been easy.
Your weight loss sounds fantastic. Any tips or tricks for what you found particulary helpful in order to lose weight?

How are you doing?? I am doing great now!! I had some problems,(bleed and acute renal failure) so it didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked, but it is all good now! Sounds like you had some rough moments too.. Nausea is really rough.. I imagine that was pretty darn scary too! Hope you are doing well now! Tami

Well Im home~!! Surgery went GREAT!!! Only problem was gas pains!!! No surgical pain at all!!! Got dischared from the hosptial about 2pm yesterday. Didnt even make it the 7 minute ride home and became violently sick!!! Puking my guts out( TMI) Got home my husband called the office to see what to do? They called in new anti-nausea medicine but did not work!! 0( So 3 hours into it I told my husband call 911 NOW!!! Ambalance came took me back to hosptial OH the fun to go threw the Emergency room process!!! 5 hours later they were able to get the puking to stop and got me to my room. I spent the night there again and they got me all hydraiated and got released this afternoon! So I guess Im on the other side?? Hoping!!!!!

I live in Margate. I had my surgery in Mexico almost seven weeks ago. I here if you need me. Best of luck and keep me posted on your success. I hope the hurricane blows away also, we just don't need that now.

I worry about that too.. I am a social eater.. I am always out with my friends at some restaurant or another. I have always loved that! We both will just have to be careful about what we eat. and I do hope we aren't hungry anymore! We WILL succeed and we WILL be healthy! By next summer we WILL be living a more active life with a lot more energy!! CAN HARDLY WAIT!!
I have to be there at 7:30am.. I am the first here too! I will think of you that morning!! We are in this on August 28th together!! Tami

Hey!!! Are you doing the liquid diet yet? I started mine on Saturday.. I did really good on it and lost 5 lbs so far, but I did eat some grilled chicken today.. I was soooo hungry and I felt sooo guilty after I ate that! I hope that you are sticking with it if you are on the preop liquid diet. I will definitely stick with if from now on!! Are you getting excited yet? We don't have much longer to wait!!
