Ok I am a little late (nine days) in doing my one year update. That's because life is quite busy with a newborn!! Sooooo, I was three months post op when I got pregnant with my little man and I gave birth to him on the 25th of July and he weighed in at 6 pound 9 or 3.1 kilos. My labour was a quick one, just over an hour
So now for the weight loss - I have lost even with being pregnant 46 kilos, which is 101 pounds I can't be happier with my results! I am finding it hard with breast
I'm about 2 weeks off being a year out and about the same for giving birth! I'm having a little boy I have still VERY SLOWLY lost weight through out my pregnancy except for the last 2 weeks I have put on a kilo (2 pounds). Not bothered by that one bit! I feel well, I actually feel better this pregnancy being 36 yrs old than I did with my first when I was 18 ha ha. I'm on a little bit of insulin once a day and recently have been put up a dose on my blood pressure meds as it has risen a little
I had a 20 week anatomy scan done yesterday. All is good with the baby, measuring perfectly! Couldnt get a proper look at its 'bits' so not sure on the gender but perhaps a boy. I have to go back in 4 weeks as they couldnt see everything they needed to due to scaring from previous surgery (not sleeve surgery). I'm really happy that the baby is growing well and my blood tests have all been great with my vitamin levels and my A1c. I have been worried that the baby wouldn't grow properly but so far
Had my 12 week NT scan to check for Downs Syndrome today. The baby is low risk! YAY. Baby is growing perfectly well and all looks great at this stage. Tech said she thinks it might be a girl but couldnt get a still shot to confirm...
Today I am 6 weeks 5 days. Had some spotting last week so went to the early pregnancy clinic at the hospital. They ordered blood tests then a repeat to see how my HCG levels were going and they were great. Today I had an ultrasound done and the baby is measuring right for its age, we saw the heartbeat (121 bpm) and everything is as it should be at this stage
