    School is going along fine. I just finished one of the last two sciences that I need for the radiology program that I'm going to be doing. I won't take classes again until next spring, though. I'm taking the spring and summer of to get the house in order and to just have a break. My daughter is graduating and that takes a lot of time and money so I'm working more. We'll both be super busy with school coming up here soon. Thank God for this surgery that allows us to do it!!! Kudos to you on doing the nursing program!!     Before i would say 500-600 daily eating whatever ,but now a bit higher maybe i havent been counting calories as much bc iam so foucsed on the other numbers. Finally my fat anazyer came in i was at 48% fat i figured more so meaning i have good muscle still lol. I think its my hormones bc i started taking my vitam b's powder and femeprin again (irregular period un fertility since 18) and noticed a change i can weigh 290 after peeing before clothes yet come home after eating all day w clothes on and weigh 288! So i started lighting time of the month today i need to be more regular taking these vitamins i forget or so tired when i do remember... My right ovary is hurting me so bad scares me somethings off i need to go tomdoc and check it out cancer always scares me! Not sure why but its a major paranoa of mine :/ this week exercise iam gona start doing more kf heck ima try some tonight i bought some show feet splints and pain cream i should be all set! Your geting soo close to goal iam sure ur slowing down but exercise should help w inchs for sure

    Well i have a nutrionist ive looked into getting one but insurace doesnt cover and ofcourse i was sleeved in mexico and iam so poor right now! Lol maybe next year eventually i may need one. Iam still stalled i cried so so bad at work over it today. I cant even get past 80lbs trying my hardest i ever have i litterly float from 288-290. Not over not under. Ive picked up more exercise cut every single diet juice out and past week pumping cucumber water. Still nothing. I was going to add in a few bits of sweet potatoe at at dinner time and see what happens but iam kind of scared to mess with it i want to keep pushing and weigh monday to aee what it says. Havent lost inches either. So i dont understand it. Depressing sooo much so maybe if i was closer,to goal il get there i have to! Some how some way ive seen it done. I hope ur doing well

    Great job! I did some light walking last night. Better than nothing and a start ive been depressed bc that new low carb plan i have been on All this month isnt working i have never followed something more strictly and have got zero results. Last. Week i did finally lose got tl 288 and i am back"to 291. It makes zero since before i was eating what ever i wanted and lost 2 lbs a week and now iam gaining . I cant fathom as to why bc i write all my foods down and meal prep i havent even snuck a bite lf anything carbish. Iam goong to bahamas next month ive been working my butt ofmto be in the 278 atleast! I dont want to go back to how k was eating before i did a pouch reset iam just so confused as to why ive lost 0lbs this month while on a strick high protien diet :/ soo upset

    Yep and it was only 30$ i learned about it thru a cancee website , but there are tons ofmfacebook and other sites on it my favorite one is favebook- keto adaption people lose as much as us or more in one year wo the sleeve. I havent exercised yet this is hard i have my diet down pat

    Awesome to hear about the skin! I think that is an awesome goal we should do twice a week including stregth training ive lost 3lbs while on keto this past week so the more i learn there is a formula not just low carb essentially. So w mh weight i need to aim for 80-90 protien and about 132 grams of fat iam not supposed to go over protien goals. Today will be bad bc of a work potluck ,but atleast my sleeve will keep me in check lol. Oh i also bought a body mass gadget off amazon its a hand held devkce supposed to be pretty accurate w all reviews! So iam excited this is a pretty good journey so far
  10. I hear ya girl. I'm only 28 years old so even though I've lost 128 pounds, my skin isn't at all saggy. My upper arms are still pretty big though. I've only lost 2 or 3 inches in the last year! So those I absolutely have to start lifting weights for. I think 20g of carbs is a good goal! I'm always busy with college during the week and work on the weekends - plus the mom of a busy 2 year old boy so I'm mentally tired usually lol. Let's make a doable goal of working out 2 times a week and see how we feel after a couple of weeks. What do you think?

    Oh wow you almost fainted? Scarey... I may get more than 20 carbs a day but i doubt it even tho i eat veggies i always eat meat first and i dont ever finish i just eat one meal thruout the day sometimes.... Exercise the missing componate for me lol... I have a memebership at planet fitness and a small gym at work but i work in an office so the only exercsixze i get is about 20min on an ellipitcal. I get home sooooo tired have to clean cook and honestly iam so pooped!!! I wish i wasnt my husband works 6days a week 12 hrs each day i dont have the heart to make him do more than he does.. I have to start finding time in my head i keep,sayimg if i start lifting weights maybe my skin wont be to bad and i wont need skin removal!! I have high hopes lol as my goal,weight is huge. I cant afford that surgery and skin scares me

    I thought you were more out then 7m for some reason... Lol... I will be quite honest i did do pretty good with the pouch reset (5lbs in a week) but then i went back to low carb strictly and gained two back maybe bc that week my caories were soo restricted it helped me get a fresh mindset to go into my keto/low carb life style honesty this has been my plan all along lose as much as i could w just sleeve then transition into a new lifestyle the sleeve helped me do that. I slowly got rid of the bad food so to speak... Needed to change it up a lot so my bodh could keep guessing. The reset diet did not make me feel newbie tight again though ive been doing a lot prep meals my favorite is a low carb keto pizza bake in the glass 1/2 0z contaniners i place it raw and night time take the lid off and bake it its soooo freakin good! You have to make that! Lol kinda of like the ricotta bake. Since reset diet ive stalled (crazy??) ive only lost one pound this week goong from eatung whatever to strict keto and now ive stalled! Whats up w that!!! Lol ,but iam still sticking to it bread and rice just are. Not where i need to be right now for all i need to do! Great job girl with your 4lbs

    Hope your doing well! How the loss still coming¡ .. I did a pouch reset and trying to stay strict now a days more on the keto end of things ive cut out allll breads. Pasta, sweets stuff i probably should have 6 months ago lol... Seeing where this takes me its much easier w my sleeve ,yet still very hard

    Hey Ashley, I just saw your before and after picture! you look like a new woman!! :-D congrats!!so great!! I know now what you explained about your tummy in a previous post. Well, I think it's not that bad, and considering the fact that you already lost more than 100 pounds and still have some to lose you might be surprised at the end that it will all come back together in a good way. It doesn't seem like you have an apron, so give your body some time until you reach goal weight, you might be happy at the end...I do have an apron and it does look bad already (matching my bat wings) but I was told to wait until two years post op to know for sure because the body will bounce back....but my obgyn already think I will need a tummy tuck because my muscles are separated and my skin really damaged...(I'm much older than you and had several pregnancies, doesn't help!). I think you look very good, in six months you might see a big change in the tummy area! you are young and have good skin!! take care

Finally! I was on a walk with my baby this morning and got THE call. My surgery is set for September 22! It's finally going to be MY turn after 3+ years of watching others get the sleeve surgery. I've been working my butt off to lose at least the 17 requires pounds and I surpassed that a few months ago so whew! I'm hoping to get down to 300 pounds by my surgery date. I believe I weigh 319 currently, so I'm going to cross my fingers and keep doing what I've been doing since I started my required

Hey everyone it's been a while! This past June amidst starting my wls journey, I discovered that I'm pregnant. So instead of having my wls around now, I'm doing my best to stay healthy for my little guy who is due Feb 22nd.

I was so concerned about pregnancy AFTER wls that I honestly didn't think it would happen before lol. My ultrasound at 22 weeks showed that he was just slightly over a pound and has a perfect heartbeat. So far so good

Well, I've done it. I've finally sent the bank statements (from when I was in High School) to my parents. They took the $4,000+ that I had saved without asking and didn't believe me when I told them so. Thus, copies of the bank statements have been sent to see if they will fullfill their promise of paying me back once I showed proof.

It's my money and i sure would love to use it to pay off my surgery! I guess I'll see just how "honest" they are. Thank goodness my dad makes

Earlier today, I found myself munching on some chips and queso dip while roaming through this amazing site and it hit me. What the heck am I doing sitting on my butt everyday before and after work when I have a Wii Fit Plus in the house?!*
