    Hope this message finds you feeling ok. I know how hard it is because I am right there with you. My surgery was 7/31. I have been sore and bloated which I assume is the norm after reading all of the post! Keep positive and look forward to a healthy lifestyle!

Had my surgery Thursday 8/2. I was told it was textbook easy, however I had two hernia repairs. With those repairs came the extra pain. Took till Saturday morning to swallow without extensive lasting pain in my chest and stomach. But today, Sunday 8/5 I am feeling good. Taking it easy today but tomorrow I begin again my walking regiment.....slowly and building as my body allows. Only difficulty I have now is geting all my liquids down, not that I can't but boy it takes a lot of effort! I
