    Got Bad News! Underwent surgery today, but MD was unable to complete sleeve. I have had previous surgery (an accident) and had my spleen removed. Apparently there was too much scar tissue that involved the blood supply to my stomach, and he could not do it. Instead he took out some of the scar tissue (painful!). He said I could have a bypass in the future if I wanted, but I DO NOT want that. Oh well, just another dissapointment. I have waited 8 months for this and am devastated. I will have to think.

    Hi Rosanne, it will be fine. I got freaked out a little at first too but this is a choice you made with a lot of information and thought. Good luck and keep reading the blogs, they helped me a lot!
