I am so tired of trying to go and nothing happens. This is nothin new but I thought the surgery would help. Some people can eat a certain kind of food to make them go but that doesn't work for me. I have a stool softener but it takes days. I'm scared to use a laxative because my stomach is to sensitive. Any suggestions would help.

I am finally feeling great. I was so scared the pain would not go away. In recovery when I woke up I wanted to cry. I told them I was hurting every time they asked (3x) I don't know what they were putting in my IV but I still was in a lot of pain when I went to my room. After pressing the call button several times they finally got it right. Most of my pain was gas and the meds was not going to fix that. First day home was hard because I couldn't drink much.
