    hello..how are things with you now? I see you had a bad experience,sorry to hear that.
  2. had surgery 6/14...had it again 6/16..went septic and was on ventilator for next 4-5 days, almost died...home now having to continue to take all the meds I was pre-sur which causes lots of throwing up. At this moment, this was biggest mistake ever but praying that this passes. will try to be more upbeat when I feel better be be prepared, this is major surgery guess I was not prepared plus so many complications. on good not weight today 244

    OMGosh....you got the surgery date I was hoping for with Dr. Sheih. You need to tell me all about it. I see him on June 21st, so I probably won't be scheduled til the following week or so. I have done a few pre-op appointment, so I'm waiting on my insurance approval. I been a patient of his for about two yrs now. I have the lap band...getting that out and a sleeve done. I can hardly weight!!! ha-ha. I'm starting around 240....hope to get to 170 or so, that's all I want to lose, but more is fine too. Keep up the good work. Where do you live in Florida? I live in Bonita Springs..Keep in touch! Janine
  8. just read what I posted 2 months ago and man I have come a long way. Not hungry, still not exercising as much as I should but feeling so much better there is no comparison. Surgery date is set June 20 and I can't hardly wait
  9. I did walk 2 miles today as shown by my cars odometer. My question to you pre-op as I am not at post-op phase as of yet. I want to exercise more than walking but am totally new to it and don;t know what is best. Do not want to hurt myself but have worked up to 2 miles today and feeling lucky. Today I am the windshield and not the bug. Anyone got any good ideas of where to start. Want to start slow and build up Thanks in advance and thanks again for the constant support I obtain from reading everyones post and replies on a daily basis.
  10. okay, I am still in the prepping phase of this journey, been at it since end of Jan. I did so well the first month but this month, SUCKS. here we go again, trying to loose weight on my own or with nutritionist help anyway. never worked before and falling apart now. have been at 277 for 3 weeks and find I am beginning to sabotage myself. Its like the demon within takes over. I have not wuffed down pizza and fries or chocolate but find I am snacking more. Snacks are healthy but the weight stays the same. This is why dieting never worked. Getting very depressed again and I know what it leads to Why does it have to be so hard to stay focused and motivated. Have to force myself most days to get out and walk and keep lying to myself and family. NO I DIDN'T WALK 2 MILES TODAY felt like it but pedometers don't lie really only went 3/4 of a mile and back hurt so I stopped. Just want to scream
