Happy Birthday!

I've had private surgery and both the surgeon and nurse are great. I also have a very helpful and supportive dietitian who I can talk to whenever I want. There's a monthly support group, as well, though I've not been yet - first time soon.

How about you? Where in London are you?

I'm going to start a protein supplement tomorrow, although I am actually on soft mashed food. Weetabix and mashed potato - yum!

I just noticed you are in the UK also and having a bit of trouble post-op. Did you go private or NHS? Is the consultant or bariatric nurse helpful? I desperately look forward to my one oxo cube each day, funny how that is. Are you using a protein supplement?
