Hi, I am new and noticed we are similar in age, BM'I, and both Mexico patients. I am 43 and am having sleeve this Thursday. My Dr. is Ariel Ortiz and I stay at the hospital 1 night and Marriot 2 nights. Everything I have read sounds like the facility and treatment is top notch with this doc. It is pricier then some of the others, but I am getting crazy nervous... My BMI is 30-31 and am so glad to see you have done so well in your weight loss. If you have any advice or can think of anything you think might be helpful, I would love to hear from you. Thanks

How are you doing girl? Things are ok with me. I am kinda stuck at this 24lb mark. It's my own fault though. I haven't been getting all my water and protien. But I am back on track today. Hope you're doing great!@ TTYS!!

Hey you! How are things? It's been going pretty good for me so far. One little weird thing happended yesterday though. I took too big of a bite of chicken and that sucker would not go down to save my life lol! I've heard people say they get the "foamies" and now I totally get what that means! Gross! Won't be doing that again! I am amazed by how quickly the body changes. it feels so good not to be as stuffed in my clothes! But I can't wait to have to buy smaller ones pretty soon! Well just wanted to touch base. We do need to get together. Meet up for a sip sometime soon lol!

I am all done. Back in San Deigo. I feel great, just a little pain. I would not recommed this place for everyone. If you can get it done in the US do it.

I will look for you if I can. Melissa said the recovery house is to full that weekend, so my husband and I will have to stay at the hotel. Wish I could be at the recovery house with every one else.

Hi Amy! Congrats on your surgery! Everything went great! Thanks for the kind words! I am back to work today. Feeling pretty good. One of my incsion sites is a little sore. But that's to be expected. I have been on liquids for the past 5 days. So ready to chew food! The folks at SHC are by far the most wonderful staff I have ever seen! The entire experience was a joy. Especially the spa services!! Well I pray that your procedure is uneventful and smooth. Who is your surgeon?
