I am 5 weeks post-op. I am eating pretty much anything now - within reason -just making sure I chew, chew, chew. But, I just don't enjoy food much anymore. I WAS a serious foodie (my son is a professional Chef) and always enjoyed a great meal before the sleeve. Now, I eat because I have to. I'm wondering if there is hope to ever again really enjoy the flavors of a delicious meal...

Today is my 3 weeks post-op date. I'm anxious to get protein in ANY way that is NOT protein shakes - gag me... I am eating chicken, fish, eggs, lentil soup, overcooked vegetables with no problems. How soon can I eat protein bars??
