    It went fine. Alot of pain the day of surgery but it's been reducing each day by alot. Actually very managable except for when I cough. Thanks for checking on me. How are you?

    hi Linda. sorry it took me so long to answer your mail, as far as your question, i wasnt told to lose any weight before my surgery. I did loss though, i was drinking the Atkins shakes and having a small meal at dinner time. I was sleeved on may 8th and i was feeling great!.. No Pain at all after surgery and i went back to work 9 days later. Do you have a date or waiting?.... Darlene

    Hello, My doctor told me that I would not have any tubes coming out of me except for an IV. My surgery date is the 23rd of May. Check out You Tube for gastric Sleeve surgeries. Write back if you like Jay

I am a 28 year old at 209lbs. I'm getting the gastric sleeve to have a better quality of life. My high BMI makes me so tired and i have developed a bit of sleep apnea and i'm tired of being tired all the time. I'm missing out on my kids and am doing this to benefit them and myself. I live in Texas. I work full time and study full time. wish me luck guys! My surgery is May 21st.

VITAMINS and FOR HAIR LOSS

Hi there. I'm 4 weeks out. I have been dreading having to take my chewable vitamins. 3 of those Calcium chews per day are nasty. Are there any gummy type or chocolate chews to substitute the calcium vitamins? Are you guys crushing them and then swallowing the powder? Are you guys chewing the whole thing? ALSO, MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHAT VITAMIN SHOULD I TAKE TO PREVENT HAIR LOSS??? WHAT'S IT CALLED? Any replies would help! Thanks guys, keep rocking that sleeve.

Questions before my surgery.

Hello sleeve friends. My name is linda and I'm 28. My surgery will be on the 21st of may. I had a couple of questions. What type of stitches/staples do they use? Do they dissolve on their own? Also, how do they suture or staple the stomach? Will I have staples in my stomach forever? How do they remove the drain tube? Do you feel it?
