Oy vey. I don't like feeling this way and I certainly do NOT want to dampen anyone's else's day, but man, I am feeling blue. I had my surgery on May 21st and at my 2-week post-op check-in I had lost 19 lbs. Fantastic, right? Well, since then, when I've weighed myself, I don't really see much of a difference. Meeting went well, I think. One of the first things I told Dr. Clark was that I was afraid of dying. He came back with "I am too." It made me laugh. I am incredibly nervous about "going under." I feel like I'm not going to wake up. I'm scared I'm not going to succeed with this operation because all of the other means of "dieting" have not worked. They cause me to gain the weight back and then gain on top of that. I also have a few things against me, medications
