Hello, I haven't been on here much over the past year and have recently been revisiting the site. I was looking through some old threads and yours came up. Just wondering how you are doing? I also wanted to share with you that I have started a FB page that is chronically my journey to a healthy body, not just through weight loss but by overcoming this struggle I have had with fibromyalgia for almost 6 yrs now. I have finally said enough is enough and it feels somewhat like starting over because I haven't lost anything from the sleeve surgery in over 8 mos. I yowas relieved to read your post that surgery went well and that you felt great post surgery. I have my appointment with Dr Adams Friday to start the process. I will try to follow your progress. So glad to hear positive things. Good luck!

I would be happy to tell you that I am finally at a place where I am feeling somewhat normal again. The difference is that now I can't eat as much as I used to, at all, but I can eat ,more than when I first started out. Yes, I do believe it is possible to stretch the sleeve back out, however for me I am in a lot of pain if I eat too much. Very uncomfortable and I feel sick. My focus has changed a bit now, because the weight loss has slowed I am finding that I am needing to start watching what I eat and really make sure to get exercise in daily. You can do this if you think of it as a tool to accomplish your goals. Us this gift you have given yourself, and don't look for that all to familiar feeling of being too full in fact that should be the alert now that you have gone too far.

surgery date is June 4th. How are things coming along?????

Good to hear from another May sleever. We will need to compare notes and help each other. Since I'm going first, I guess I will be able to tell you what to expect a little bit. Good luck with your appointments and let us know when you get your surgery date.
