Biography:

Over the years, I have pretty much used Dr Atkins diet. At a point where I stopped, I ended up eating everything under the sun and developed diabetes. Along with many years of diabetes came high and higher numbers, trying every test to get rid of it and only gaining more fat as I took insulin. Frustrated, I was fortunate to meet a doctor who is on the cutting edge of technology and she asked if I had ever thought of this surgery. After doing research, I found it to be an answer to prayer regarding getting rid of the diabetes. So just shy of a week after surgery, my blood sugars are in normal range without medication.
