Everything is going really well! My husband and I joined a 90 day challenge at our gym and I took 3rd place for the women and my husband took 1st place for the men! He has lost 49 lbs since I had my surgery just by changing the way he eats and continuing to work out. We have been able to work out together in the evenings and its actually helped our relationship get much stronger! Things are busy here too with soccer games, 8th grade graduation for my daughter and trying to get the flower and veggie gardens started. Congrats on the house! I'm sure all this waiting and being patient will pay off when it's built the exact way you want it! I think losing it slowly is definitely a good thing! I feel better right now at 172 than the last time I was at this weight. I think my body fat is lower and I am getting more toned. I am hoping to get into the 150's by mid July, so that is another 13 lbs in 55 days. But at this point no matter how much more I lose, I already feel so much more confident and I have much less pain which are the most important anyway! Take care, talk to you soon!

I hadn't seen you online and was beginning to worry! lol Glad to hear you are ok. I am down 61 in total. It is a good pace but of course I get impatient!

Thanks for the well-wishes! felt pretty good to be down a total of 43 lbs at my pre-admission weigh-in. A little anxious about taking the "big step" in the morning, but at the same time I'm also eager for it.
If you're losing - however fast or slow - you ARE moving in the right direction. Keep up the healthy eating habits, and the efforts to get more activity into your routine, and you WILL get there.

Angie, hope you are well, and seeing the progress you wanted to see, post-op.
I'm starting the pre-op (cleanse and liquid diet) phase now, in anticipation of surgery on Tuesday. Nervous, but anxious to move ahead, too.
