My surgery was on 12/28, now five days out I feel amazing. The first two days were rough only because they always give me to much anesthesia and I cant wake up and I have to be on oxygen. Once that passed on the second day by midafternoon I felt so much better. It is now day five and cant believe how good I feel. I read other peoples posting from other states etc. and feel for the ones that have some kind of tube as drainage. I had my lap band removed, hernia repaired and then sleeved.
This is my first week and am only on clear liquids/

the hospital told me to be there an hour before the doctor office did so I am all confused actually but I will leave here at 5 and if I am there early gives me time to visit with my niece who is coming to town to take care of me, hope to see you there (I am sure we will definitely see each other after in the halls)

they told me to be there by 6:30 for 8:30 AM surgery (plus they said they are always late). Ugh!

Yes NHigh it is at 7am have to be at hospital by 6 they said...and you?

I was sleeved on 12/28/11 by Dr Kim at Forest Park Medical. I too live in the DFW area. I was only on pain meds the first two days and then nothing. I had to stay an addn day because I had trouble getting in enough liquids. I was also a band to sleeve person. Good luck to you.
