I cannot even explain how happy I am today. It has been 128 days since my surgery and I have finally hit Onederland! My starting weight was 267 and today I stepped on the scale to see 199.6!! I'm just over 3 months out now and I am super excited about the 50+ pounds I've lost, but every time I look in the mirror I can't see the change. I have people telling me how skinny and great I look but I don't see it. I still see myself at 267lbs, not where I am now. So even though I see the scale dropping fairly consistently I find myself sad that when I look in the mirror I don't see it. Hoping soon I snap out of it and I can look in the mirror and finally see the change!

I am pretty excited at my progress, but it's getting harder and I am really having to fight at this point to not fall back into old habits, skipping the gym, eating something I know I shouldn't, etc. But I am fighting through and still seeing some movement on the scale. My biggest issue at this point is my annoyance at my hair loss. I'm getting in my proteins and I'm taking 10,000 mcg a day of of biotin and I am still losing a massive amount of hair each day. This first month has been super hectic since my surgery. I experienced one thing I was not anticipating and that was the return of 'that time of the month'. Today mark 4 weeks since my surgery and I've lost an amazing 25 pounds! I am so excited, but even more excited because earlier today I looked in the mirror and for the first time I could look at myself and see the change! I'm beaming! My pants are getting looser, my tops are too! And today I head back to work! (Took a nice long vacay! lol) I can't wait to see what the next month brings!
