Im only on day 5 and my head is crazy. How did you survive the liquid stage and do you feel your life regulating now? A friend of mine had the surgery 3 years ago and i swear she seems to be living life completely normally but now as a size 10. Appreciate the guidance

Hi Pip -- I'm happy and well. Working away about a kg a week. I'll be under 100kg for the first time in a long time soon. Have had some more challenging days since the weather got cooler but still finding this a pretty cruisy and sustainable lifestyle. So grateful to have had the surgery. Already feeling much smaller and still have a fair way to go.. You?

Yep. I'm on Nil by mouth now. At SJOG for 6.30am. Have to have an EKG before the op. I'm excited, scared witless and just a little anxious. I will be fine, I'm sure.

May 10, next Friday. I signed consents today and paid for the procedure. Going to SJOG on Sat for a preliminary meeting with a nurse.... Not sure why, but I'll turn up. So calm about the procedure it's scary.....
