I know it sounds a little strange talking to a complete stranger about a life changing/altering surgery, but I really wish I could have talked to someone who had actually been there and gone through the whole thing before I went. I went alone - all went fine. However, as I posted recently - if you have any other health issues I would spend the extra money and stay in the states. I just don't want people not taking the chance of going to Mexico for the surgery if that is there only option because of insurance and/or finances.
