I haven't posted in a while. At my 6 month checkup, I had lost 50 lbs I think and I am still at that same weight. Now, I will say, that I can eat anything I want with no problems. I do get full pretty fast, but if I want it, I can eat it. I do focus on my protein and always get 60+ oz. of protein daily. I have had no problems whatsoever with my surgery and feel great. I have lost 51 lbs to date, but I'm starting to get frustrated because this stall is lasting a long time (a month so far).

Well, today I hit my first goal of 50 lbs lost forever! I am so excited. It seems after 5 months, the weight loss has slowed down dramatically. Although I get frustrated at times, it is ok. At least the scale moves eventually. This week I really started focusing on getting in more protein (at least 75gm per day). When I went for a checkup last week, that is what the doctor said. Make sure to eat protein first (2-3 oz), then vegetables, then carbs if there is room (most times there is no room for

Well, I'm now four months out from my surgery, and I have lost 46 lbs as of this morning! I feel so much better these days, not that I haven't felt good. Just took a 5-day trip with my family and did great! The only thing (which was actually a good thing) was that when I did enjoy what I was eating, my sleeve kept me from overeating! No more overeating for me. Usually I just take my leftovers home for another meal!
I did notice a NSV while we were out of town. I love to play

Well, after being stuck for several days (week plus), last week I lost three pounds and this week so far one pound. It's so nice to see the scale moving again. I've been trying to change things up a bit with my eating and doing better on my daily protein. I really need to get my butt in gear and start exercising more than I am. I don't know why I find it so hard to motivate myself in that area.
So Week 14, lost 43 lbs and that's my halfway point! 43 lbs more to go!

Hi All,
Well I have been in several short/medium stalls. I went on a quick vacation with my boys last week and thought I would lose weight since I would be more active. But no ... same weight as when I left. However, that is a victory. I did not eat excessively and ate what I wanted, and I did not gain anything. After being home for three days, I have lost 2.5 lbs! So happy about that. So for those of you on this journey also, I am 13 weeks post-op and have lost 41.5 lbs.
