Alot of negative feedback

All I hear from people lately isn't don't do thus. Your not big enough. You could die. I know people who have dues from those types if surgery. Honestly its starting to freak me out. I'm 5 8 255 40 Bmi. Can't believe I just admitted that on here. My surgery is 2 weeks away and I'm having doubts because they've scares me. Is this normal
