    Congrats on your progress. How are you coming along. At 2.5 years out, I'm finding the hardest part is maintaining but I continue to work hard. I can now eat more at least a small saucer of food. I have to strive to make good choices. I've worked too hard to get to this point. Just sending you words of encouragement. I tell myself that eating the junk food does not make me nearly as happy as being healthy feels.

    Hi... right now I'm eating grillchiken, salmon, eggs, Multigrain toast with penut butter and bananas, turkey or boca burguers, pastas and rice just once week, the amount is very small so even is almost.nothing what i.eat is make me happy Cuz I eat what I want...alot of water and cristal light.

    How are you feeling, your about a week post-op right???
    How did you handle the pre-op liquid diet? That's what I'm facing now this week I racked up on Water,Protien shakes,Jello and many flavored broths.

    Thanks! Yes, I'm on Bariatric Pal as well. Tips I would give would be to get active early and get protein in early and drink lots of water. This will help preserve a lot of the muscle you already have. Then once you're cleared by your Dr, start exercising, embrace it and find a way to keep yourself motivated to stick with it. Down the road, get plenty of lean protein and don't be afraid of some complex carbs like unsweetened oats, beans, broccoli, etc on days that you exercise. It's the simple/fast carbs and liquid calories that can derail you. Let me know if you have any specific questions and I wish you the best!

    Hey, whats up? Up until I got cleared for weight lifting, I did an hour on the elliptical 3 times a week. Once I got cleared I did full body workouts 3 times a week with cardio 2 times a week. I currently feel that ibreached my max doing that. So I joined a MMA gym. As far as diet, I usually have a Muscle Milk for breakfast, a handful of nuts for a snack. Tuna or chicken for lunch. Beef jerky for mid afternoon snack. And for dinner it varies like grilled chicken with broccoli or beans. I also take supplements. I take muscle pharm fight stack. Hopefully this helps. Take care.

Day 1 after Surgery, ....

Alright so the surgery went great. I just had an extremely long wait because my Dr was behind schedule. So i didn't eat for a most 24 hours. Now as for pain i don't have very much. I feel discomfort but nothing major. Now for some strange reason I have crazy hiccups. Now is that normal?
