So your 6 months is coming up soon!!! How do you feel? My 6 weeks is in 2 days. Doing pretty good. Trying to get more activity in now that the pain on my left side isn't as bad. I'm finding I'm eating 6-7 times a day but small amounts, especially if I am exercising. I still drink a shake now and then if I'm not feeling great or feeling a bit dehydrated. All in all no regrets!

Yes i can drink more fluids and have 6 oz of soup as well and dont have that fullness feeling. I thought that was very strange. My appt is friday and i will bring it up

Well. Today is purge day, clear liquids only AM and Miralax late afternoon. Arrive at hospital 5:45 AM surgery at 7:45 AM tomorrow, bet I don't sleep much tonight.

Hi there! Sorry for the delay, I haven't been on line to much over the weekend. But I am having a muscle milk myself as I sit and type. You are right it taste really good compared to others. Btw, Premier Protein (bought at Wal-Mart) has 30grams of protein and is same size as muscle milk and taste about the same. I am finishing up all my muscle milk then going to switch to them just because I can get more protein in in the same volume. So are you nervous/excited? I am really excited right now but probably will get emotional tomorrow I am guessing. Or maybe tonight once my kiddos are dropped off at my sister's to spend the night since I have to leave home at 430 am to head to the hospital. But for now....I am so ready!

This week I talked to friend that has lost 198 pounds. My fear is not so much the surgery, but what we have to go thru postop. He has kept the weight off and said it the best thing he has ever done. Sure I am scared having second thoughts, but I am to close to the date to back out now. My wife is dead set against me having this surgery, so she has added huge amount of anxiety at the time I need support. Deep down inside know that this is the correct decision.

Congratulations on your date. I just got rescheduled for next tues the 14th. I was SO geeked and ready and now I have lost some confidence. I'm sure it will be fine. Are you nerved up or OK with it all?

January 14 2014, starts my new life. Excited, yes, scared, of course, this trip is like traveling to another planet, I have no idea how I will adjust, or what is a head for me.
