txblue, the only thing that I can think to tell you is to make sure, make damn sure, you put your wallet, passport, any kind of electronics (cell phone, ipad, mp3 player) in the safe that is provided in your room, if there isn't a safe, ask them where you can lock your stuff up BEFORE they take you in for surgery. the only reason i am saying this is because someone stole my mp3 player while i was in surgery. otherwise, i can't think of anything that i think you should know. everything went pretty smoothly. Hi Cheri, We just got back from TJ a little after midnite Tuesday morning. My operation went pretty smoothly other than a slight reaction to the morphin they gave me after the surgery. Today I am feeling good, no soreness at all. Dr. Elias Ortiz and Dr. Lopez are both very nice and very respectful doctors. The reason I mention them both is because they were both in the operating room together. All in all, my experience in TJ was a good one, but I am truly glad to be home, and ready for New Beginnings.
