I am 6 weeks out from surgery and in a stall I went back to work on Monday and I did feel great and had energy I hadn't had for awhile coworkers are saying that they see the loss and one good thing is I am down one pant size which felt great The picture on here is one taken at work about 6 mos. ago and they are doing pictures again on 7/16 and I can't wait. So it is two days home from surgery see my doctor on Wednesday to have the drain removed. He warned me that with all the fluids they put in me at the hospital that I could gain weight but that hasn't happened. Each day is getting a little better and can't wait until the drain is gone and then I can also go to full liquids instead of clear only. I see the doctor first thing in the morning so then I will be able to move on to full liquids for two weeks and then pureed foods for another two. I can't

So I got a phone call this morning saying that they are moving my surgery up 1 hour for tomorrow so 9:30am (have to be there at 6:30 so I am writing this today). Just got through giving blood again for the last time before surgery. My daughter has to drive here tomorrow morning and be here by 5:15am to get me to the hospital by 6:30 wish I lived a little closer so she wouldn't have to get up so early I live 45 min. from her so that means 4am she needs to leave to get me to the hospital on time.

The first two days were the worst because I was at home being at work made it much better keeping busy with my responsibilities. I bought a scale on my first day of the diet and since then have lost 12 lbs. Now just have to see what the scale at the doctors office says. Finally getting used to the taste of the protein drinks have tried a few to see which I prefer. Getting more nervous as the day gets closer only 6 days out. Today and half a day tomorrow and then I am off until going back to work
