I am 6 weeks post op today. I was on a pre-surgery diet for two weeks prior to the surgery. Starting at my pre-op diet weight, I am now 49lbs down. I am loving my sleeve! Sometimes as weird as it sounds, I miss the enjoyment and comfort that I would get from food but I certainly don't miss the extra pounds!! It was the best decision I ever made!

Just switched to soft solids now. I thought it would be awesome but to be honest meal time just isn't that exciting anymore which I'm glad about. I've only been doing about one solid meal a day and the other two I've just been doing protein shakes. It's amazing how just a few bites and I feel so full. I think my stomach is probably just still really tight since I have been on liquids. Almost 40 lbs off and surgery was 2 1/2 weeks ago! Feeling really good!

How soon can you enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail? Do you get buzzed really quickly?
