s0o0o I'm miserable and hungry!!! started my preop diet today and i want to just eat food. I don't want to drink any more shakes blahhhh.

I currently use Worldwide Protein Shakes..they come in a can..Have used them for 9 years, and hope to be able to contine. they are pre mixed..35 grams of protein and 4 carbs per shake. I have not had surgery yet, so have not started the pre op diet yet..soon I hope

I'm in Vineland also and Dr. Iqbal did my surgery Dec. 26. He has been excellent and I had no major issues at all. I have lost 67 pounds and am now working out at the gym on Sherman Ave. 5 days a week. LOVE the Zumba Gold class especially, when you get to the point of exercising...try it! The leader is very good and we have a lot of fun and laughter...doesn't matter if you miss steps, etc.

Same here, I still have four months left before I am scheduled for surgery I can't wait.

Hey, how is your journey going so far?

So0o0o I was looking over my food journal for my nutritionist appointment tomorrow. Its horrible!! I eat way to much at work. I think it's boredom mainly plus the other girls in my office are stick thin and eat crap. Oh how i hate them. I'm semi worried about going back to work after surgery and sticking to a strick diet. i do better when someone holds my hand so to speech. the doctor said she will give me day by day personalize instruction on what to eat and when hopefully that does the trick.
