I did not go to Mexico I was sleeved in TX. Having support is helpful but not essential, as many others have gotten sleeved without spousal support. I do recommending preparing yourself mentally as this is a life changing experience.

i have tons of questions. very excited to do this but very scared at the same time and I have been researching for a few months. i am going to go by myself and i guess that is what i am worried about. So you went to Mexico and got this done? If so did you go alone? My husband would go with me but I really don't want him to go. Plus he hates anything to do with dr. because he was in a hospital till he was 3 years old. and i do understand so i am not going to ask him to go with me and I will need him home to take care of me when i get home. I have not scheduled my sleeve yet waiting to do that after i get my passport in. Going tomorrow to get that started.
