Yeah...I jog slow and steady! LOL...but I didn't start jogging till 2 1/2 months or so. I started out walking for the first month and then biking and then jogging. I know what you mean about running along time ago. I used to be a cross country runner in high school, so my body had a built long distance running history! Good luck! I'm sure you will do great. In all good things we have to continue pressing forward even when we want to race ahead, it is good to be patient with your body and listen to what it is saying Have a great day!

I had my last Dr. visit before surgery yesterday. All went well. My surgery date is Nov. 21st.
Can't wait.

She did. It is a protein drink at breakfast and lunch, 2 snacks of 1 serving of fruit and a supper of 3 oz of lean protein with vegetables ( no butter) or salad with no fat dressing and one serving of fruit and either 6 unsalted crackers or computer mouse sized baked potato. This was for two weeks prior to surgery. The day before surgery is limited to nothing but clear liquids. Do you have a date yet?

She is a wonderful surgeon. I have had no problems. The support group meetings are excellent if you can attend any of them.
