I'm sorry to hear about your mom's health problems, and two brain surgeries for you?! You're an incredibly strong person!

I think part of the problem we have is with our identity. A lot of us have been struggling with weight and food for so long that is has truly become part of who we are. So, when we think about changing our relationship with food, it feels like giving up on someone you love.

Remember though that no matter your weight or size, you will always be you. Nothing will change that or take it away from you. And the people in your life, especially your family and your sweet boyfriend love you for who you are.

I'm here for you, friend.
