[FONTIf your doctor is one who likes use a nose tube, consider yourself lucky. I was really dreading that tube. I have a very small nose path and was afraid it would be hard for them to get it in place. But wouldn't you know they make all size tubes. LOL! Afterwards I was so glad I had it. I never felt any discomfort from it, and it kept me from experiencing all the gas pain that most people suffer from. I had no gas pain whatsoever.

Hi everyone, I know my "friends" have been wondering what happened to me. Things did not go so well for me after surgery. My surgery went fine, but my experience at Baylor Plano can be best described as "I've been to hell and back by way of the twilight zone". *I won't even go into the non-existing healthcare, but I had a very bad drug reaction to the morphine. I honestly thought I was going to die. Plus, I had no idea that I would not have any of my medications during my stay

[QUOTE]I want to thank everyone for all their encouragement and support for me not to give up and to continue with my surgery date of July 3, after the death of my mother.
It was a very difficult week planning a funeral and getting my pre-opt tests done, going through registration (which was a nightmare because of so many mistakes made at the hospital) and my pre-opt doctors appointment. It was difficult, but I stayed focused and God walked very close to me, giving me strength

Hi everyone. I joined this forum early June with a surgery date of June 20. I was not comfortable with my doctor so I changed to Dr. Stephen Hamn. They first gave me a surgery date of June 28, but later called me back saying the new girl had made a mistake. Now my surgery date is July 3. So, what's the problem you ask. My mom went to be with the Lord Sunday morning. I received the call at 4:42 A.M. Now I don't know what to do. I was so mentally ready for my surgery, but now I have more important

I am so anxious to get sleeved, and this website is a great informational source. I started out with Dr. Nick in Dallas, but our personalities didn't jive. Maybe it was because I was just beginning this journey and had a lot of questions that Dr. Nick didn't have time nor interest to answer. Plus, I didn't get the support from my advocate there. I had a surgery date of June 20. Now, I'm having my surgery with Dr. Stephen Hamn in Plano. I have met with him and he had no problem spending time
