I've been hacking up little chunkies of bloody mucous.

My throat is still a bit sore from the intubation, too

Had the surgery on May 27, so it's still fresh, I'm just wondering if this happens to everyone? I don't remember anyone posting about this anywhere.

Still coughing.

Went to urgent care center today, got a chest X-ray which was normal. Low grade temp, dizziness.

Talked them into giving me a liter of IV fluids.

Feeling slightly better, since my husband bought me these fruit nectors loaded with sugar and made me drink! Now he's cooking up a pot of chicken soup that I can liquify in the Vitamix, chicken and all!

Tomorrow marks one week pot op and I'm still weak and lightheaded. Appt with the surgeon on Monday. Hoping week 2 brings some energy with it! Good news is that all my belly holes are healing just fine, no oozing or internal pain anywhere. I'm sure this is respiratory related.

I'm still coughing, but I did get a z-Pak on Monday and my fever broke that night. The coughing is not nearly as frequent as before, but comes in violent fits. Pretty sure I pulled a muscle during all the hacking, but def on the mend.
