So share with us some of your favorite puree foods.

For me this was the hardest stage of the post-op diet. I don't know about you but puree3d food just looks terrible and there is nothing appealing about pureed meat. I know it is all in my head but it just does not taste the same. This stage is really hard to eat protein without taking in a large amount of carbs. I lived on Vienna weenies, yes they are considered puree and I had a lot of refried beans & guacamole.

I did have a lot of soups during this stage. For some reason putting soup in a blender just made everything seem like creamed soup and I was okay with that. Sounds strange but it worked and helped get me through that long 2 weeks.
