my common sense from what I have learned from 20 years of dieting is that when you don't eat enough your body will hold onto every calorie because it's in starvation mode. So with this surgery and you re only eating a couple hundred calories at first what keeps this from happening to the body? I should of asked my nutritionalist about this but thought about it after the appointment.
I too would be interested to know what your nutritionist has to say, so please share! I know that it is not recommended for women to go below 1200 calories when trying to lose weight without the surgery. I've heard that with the surgery we are not to go below 800 calories but don't know if that's correct. With all the different doctors that we all are using come different diets plans, ect.... I would love to hear what anyone else's doctors have said about this too.
